On the afternoon of November 17, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to announce decisions on personnel work.
The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee mobilized, assigned and appointed Mr. Vo Van Dung - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, to participate in the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Vung Tau Ward Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
Mr. Vo Van Dung was born in 1974, from Ho Chi Minh City; has a Master's degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Senior Political Theory.
From July 1, 2025, when merging Ho Chi Minh City with Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Mr. Dung was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee. Previously, he was Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee.
Also at the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee announced the decision of the Secretariat on approving Mr. Duong Trong Hieu - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Organization Committee, to join the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee and hold the position of Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
Mr. Duong Trong Hieu was born in 1976, from Da Nang City; has a Master's degree in Natural Resources and Environment Management, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, and a Senior degree in Political Theory.
From July 1, 2025, Mr. Hieu was assigned to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Organization Committee after merging Ho Chi Minh City with Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
Mr. Hieu has held many important positions in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province before, such as: Deputy Secretary of Dat Do District Party Committee, Secretary of Xuyen Moc District Party Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee.
