On the afternoon of June 30, in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics held a ceremony to announce the Politburo's Decision on personnel work.
Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang attended and directed the conference.
The conference heard the announcement of the Politburo's Decision on personnel work. Accordingly, the Politburo decided that Mr. Doan Minh Huan - Member of the Party Central Committee - would cease to hold the position of Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, and transfer and assign him to the position of Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics from July 1, 2025.
On behalf of the Politburo and the Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang presented the decision, presented flowers and congratulated Mr. Doan Minh Huan - the new Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
According to Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang, Mr. Doan Minh Huan has worked at the Academy since 1993. With his continuous efforts to mature, Mr. Doan Minh Huan was elected as an alternate member of the Party Central Committee at the 12th National Party Congress, a member of the Party Central Committee at the 13th National Party Congress and held many positions in the Party.
Mr. Doan Minh Huan took on the position of Permanent Deputy Director of the Academy in the context that the Academy continued to reorganize the apparatus according to Decision 214 of the Politburo on the functions, tasks and powers of the Academy with a much larger scale of tasks.
The Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics suggested that Mr. Doan Minh Huan, with his mature experience in the field of training, theoretical research as well as practical leadership work, will continue to work with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the Academy and the team of lecturers, scientists and students of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to effectively carry out the upcoming tasks of the Academy. Thereby, the Academy has made new breakthroughs, developing into an Academy with a modern identity, integrating at the regional and world level.
Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Doan Minh Huan respectfully thanked the Politburo, the Secretariat, General Secretary To Lam, and the Central Party Committees for trusting him with the new responsibility; affirmed that he would strive his best, be dedicated, and work hard with the Academy's Board of Directors to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
Mr. Doan Minh Huan, born in 1971, hometown Ha Tinh; Associate Professor, PhD; Senior Political Theory.
He received basic training, has held many positions, worked as a lecturer for 10 years, then held the positions of Deputy Head of Department, Head of Department, Deputy Director, Director of the Political Academy Region I (Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics); Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine; Member of the Central Theoretical Council; Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
