On the afternoon of February 25, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the appointment of the position of Director of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order Police (Department C06).
At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Long presented the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the appointment of Colonel Vu Van Tan - Deputy Director of Department C06 - to hold the position of Director of Department C00.
According to the leader of the Ministry of Public Security, Colonel Vu Van Tan was well-trained, going through all positions and working units clearly demonstrated his mettle, responsibility, creativity, and breakthroughs with officers and soldiers in the units in the assigned tasks.
Speaking on receiving the assignment, Colonel Vu Van Tan affirmed that he will continue to promote the role, functions and tasks of the unit in the new period with the officers and soldiers of Department C06; build a united Department C06 collective; always fulfill assigned duties and tasks well, and be able to meet the requirements of leadership and direction in the new position.
Colonel Vu Van Tan, from Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province, has held many positions such as: Head of Hoang Van Thu ward police (Hoang Mai district, Hanoi); was appointed as Director of the National Population Data Center from March 24, 2021; appointed as Deputy Director of Department C06 from the end of September 2022.
On the same morning, February 25, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Cuong - Director of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order Police was transferred to the position of Director of the National Data Center.
In addition to Mr. Cuong, the Deputy Directors of the National Data Center include: Colonel Pham Minh Tien - Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Finance; Colonel Ha Nam Trung - Head of the Department of National Information Security System Security Protection, Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention and Control; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Vinh - Director of the Population Data Center (C06). The National Data Center was established by the Ministry of Public Security this morning.
