The Government requires ministries, agencies and localities to implement trade promotion and goods distribution activities through digital platforms, support market information provision, legal advice for businesses to unblock the domestic market; promote the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".
Fully implement the Prime Minister's direction at the conference to review the first 6 months of 2025 and summarize the peak period of fighting to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights.
The Government requires special "uncompromising fighting" against the situation of fake drugs and fake food.
The Government also requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to coordinate with localities to direct market management forces nationwide to strengthen inspection, control, and strictly handle individuals and businesses trading in smuggled goods, manufacturing, and trading in counterfeit goods (especially dairy, medicine, and food), violating intellectual property rights and unknown origins.
The Ministry of Public Security focuses on directing professional forces and local police to establish specialized projects, fight fiercely, strictly handle crimes, smuggling, trade fraud, production, trading of counterfeit goods, intellectual property infringement...
Timely publicize the results on mass media for general deterrence and prevention; coordinate with prosecution agencies to speed up the progress of investigation, prosecution and trial of cases.
The Ministry of Finance directs customs, tax forces, and functional units to closely coordinate with relevant forces to promptly detect and handle individuals and businesses that smuggle, trade fraud, tax evasion, and tax fraud.
At the same time, strictly control imported goods, do not allow counterfeit goods, unknown origin, or poor quality goods to enter Vietnam, and fake goods of Vietnamese origin to be exported abroad.
The Ministries of Industry and Trade, Finance, Agriculture and Environment, and Health, according to their assigned functions and tasks, strictly implement regulations on food safety, traceability, and quality control of goods to meet export requirements.
Prioritize customs clearance for exported goods which are agricultural products at the time of main harvest; harmonize customs regulations, specialized inspections; thoroughly handle recommendations from businesses and associations on import-export conditions.
