On December 11, in Hanoi, Politburo member and President Luong Cuong visited and worked with the Ministry of Public Security.
Speaking at the working session, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, President Luong Cuong commended, acknowledged, highly appreciated and congratulated the Ministry of Public Security for being proactive, firmly grasping the situation, upholding responsibility and completing all tasks well since the beginning of the term.
President Luong Cuong highly agreed with the direction and key tasks of the Ministry of Public Security; at the same time, emphasized a number of key tasks that need to be focused on in the coming time.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Public Security must continue to grasp the situation, direct the synchronous and successful implementation of the goals and tasks set forth by the Resolution of the 13th National Congress and the Resolution of the 7th Central Party Congress of the Public Security, maintain political stability for national development, as the spirit that late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong thoroughly understood "good is getting better and better, excellent is getting more and more excellent".
In particular, we must focus on completing the task of absolutely ensuring the safety of major events of the country, especially the Party Congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Congress of Delegates that the people are eagerly waiting for and expecting.
We must focus on building Party organizations in the Central Public Security Party Committee to be truly clean and strong; the measure is the increasingly improved fighting strength and leadership capacity; building a contingent of Party members and cadres at all levels, especially key cadres according to Uncle Ho's 6 teachings to the People's Public Security (PPP), with increasingly improved quality and high credibility; associated with continuing to build a "refined, compact, strong, effective and efficient" organizational apparatus and successfully implementing Resolution 12 of the 12th Politburo on continuing to build a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern PPP force to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
The President emphasized that it is necessary to focus on successfully organizing Party Congresses at all levels in the People's Public Security Forces in all three aspects: quality of documents; quality of personnel at all levels in the Public Security Forces and quality of Public Security personnel participating in Party Committees at all levels.
At the same time, proactively develop a project to implement activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day according to the set goals and requirements. Continue to proactively and effectively coordinate with departments, ministries, branches, localities, and judicial agencies in the spirit of "already good, already strict, from now on it must be better, stricter".
Speaking at the meeting, General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Minister of Public Security - sincerely thanked the President for his special attention to the Public Security Forces.
Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed that the entire People's Public Security force will continue to promote its good nature and glorious heroic tradition; be absolutely loyal and devoted to work, wholeheartedly serve the Party, the Fatherland and the People; always be united in will and action, regularly set an example, practice moral qualities and a clean lifestyle;
Closely coordinate with ministries, departments, branches, localities, socio-political organizations, rely on the people, strive to excellently fulfill the task of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern public security force, actively contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; determined to successfully carry out the requirements and tasks assigned by the Party, State and people.
