On March 3, the Hai Duong Department of Finance held a conference to announce activities under the new apparatus after the merger between the Department of Finance and the Department of Planning and Investment.
At the conference, the Department of Finance announced the decision to appoint 35 department and center leaders, including 12 department heads, 1 center director; 21 deputy department heads, 1 deputy director of the Financial Consulting and Service Center. The appointment decisions are valid for 5 years from March 3.
After the merger, the Department of Finance has 12 departments and 1 affiliated unit including Office; Inspectorate; Budget Management; Finance and Administration; Investment Finance; Price Management; Property Management; Summary - planning; Management of non-budgetary investment; Sector Economics; Business Registration; Information Technology and Statistics and Financial Consulting and Service Center.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Trong Tue - Director of the Department of Finance requested the departments to effectively carry out 5 key, core tasks: building a transparent, sustainable and efficient financial system. Innovation in public financial management and public investment. Strongly apply information technology in financial management, investment, and business, towards digital transformation in operations, improving service quality.
Emphasizing the need to reorganize and streamline the apparatus with many important tasks, the Director of the Provincial Department of Finance suggested that each individual in the Department of Home Affairs collective after the merger should work together to unite and support each other to overcome challenges and difficulties, perform well the tasks, and advise the province on many major decisions in the coming time.
After the merger, the Department of Finance continues to use the two headquarters of the Department of Finance and the Department of Planning and Investment (old) as a working place. In which, the head office is located at 15 Nguyen Du Street (Hai Duong City).
