To carry out the task of testing and granting road motor vehicle driving licenses smoothly and promptly when handed over by the Department of Transport, the Road Motor Vehicle Driving License Testing and granting Team under the Traffic Police Department of Hai Duong Provincial Police has coordinated with functional departments of the Provincial Police and the Hai Duong Provincial Public Administration Service Center to organize the installation of equipment, installation, operation of software and applications in receiving and handling work related to functions to serve the people.
Starting from March 1, at counter No. 6, Hai Duong Provincial Public Administration Service Center, the unit's functional department will receive and handle procedures related to granting and exchanging driving licenses for people.
Previously, according to Decision No. 464/QD-UBND of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province on transferring the functions and tasks of state management of road motor vehicle testing and licensing from the Department of Transport of Hai Duong province to the Hai Duong Provincial Police, the Department of Transport announced that it would stop receiving applications for issuing, exchanging, and reissuing road motor vehicle driving licenses from 4:30 p.m. on February 28 to serve the handover of tasks according to regulations.
On February 28, the unit only receives applications for issuance, renewal and re-issuance of car driving licenses with a validity of less than 5 days compared to the expiration date stated on the front of the driving license.
