After the merger between the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Information and Communications, the Board of Directors of the Department of Science and Technology has 7 staff. Mr. Nguyen Cao Thang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Science and Technology and 6 deputy directors of the department include Mr. Pham Van Manh; Nguyen Dinh Bo, Le Luong Thinh, Luu Xuan Lam; Pham Huy Thang, Nguyen Minh Kha.
Regarding the organization of the apparatus, the Department of Science and Technology of Hai Duong includes the Office, Inspectorate of the Department; 4 specialized departments for Technology Management and Intellectual Property; Scientific Management; Information Technology; Digital Infrastructure and Quality Standards with 52 civil servants.
The centers under the Department include the Center for Application of Science, Technology and Innovation; Information Technology; Measurement, Testing and Scientific Information.
At the conference, the Department of Science and Technology announced and presented the appointment decisions to 7 officials who are heads of departments and units under the department (not appointed as Head of the Information Technology Department, Director of the Information Technology Center) and 15 deputy heads of departments (including 2 deputy heads of departments in charge of departments).
