On November 19, 2024, the State Council of Professors officially announced the Decision on meeting the standards for the title of Professor and Associate Professor in 2024 for 614 teachers, including 45 Professors and 569 Associate Professors, of which the Security Science sector has 17 more Associate Professors recognized.
Pursuant to Decision No. 37/2018 of the Prime Minister stipulating standards and procedures for considering recognition of meeting standards and appointing the titles of Professor and Associate Professor, the People's Police Academy has carried out procedures to consider appointing the title of Associate Professor in 2024 in accordance with regulations.
Accordingly, the two teachers who met the standards for the title of Associate Professor in 2024 are Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Hai Yen - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Law and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - officer of the Department of Training Quality Assurance.
Up to now, the People's Police Academy has 2 professors and 45 associate professors, making it the training institution with the largest team of professors, associate professors and scientists among the People's Police schools.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Huong - Director of the People's Police Academy - believed that the teachers appointed to the title of Associate Professor in 2024 will continue to contribute their strength and intelligence to the education and training of the People's Police Force in general and the People's Police Academy in particular; constantly study, cultivate ethics, scientific style, improve professional skills and be a shining example for students to learn from and strive to follow.
