On September 8, in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics held a conference to announce the Secretariat's Decision on personnel work.
Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang attended and presented the Decision.
At the Conference, representatives of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics announced Decision No. 2286-QDNS/TW of the Secretariat on personnel work. Accordingly, the Secretariat decided to reappoint Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Trung Y to the position of Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (term of reappointment is 5 years).
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang presented the Decision of the Secretariat to Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Trung Y.
Speaking at the assignment, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang affirmed that Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Trung Y is a well-trained leader, especially in Party organization and building work.
During his tenure, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Trung Y always completed all assigned tasks well, in any job he demonstrated his core role well, creating positive changes and gaining high trust.
Appreciating the capacity and results that Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Trung Y has achieved in the past period, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang hopes that Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Trung Y will inherit and continue to practice, having many initiatives in new tasks, especially in the work of the Party's ideological foundation.
Speaking on receiving the assignment, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Trung Y respectfully thanked the Central Party Secretariat, the Board of Directors and the Academy Party Committee for their trust and assignment of the task.
Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Trung Y said that the results achieved today are not only his own efforts but also the crystallization of the solidarity, intelligence, and responsibility of the entire Board of Directors, the Academy Party Committee, and the active support of units in the Academy, as well as departments, ministries, branches, central and local agencies, international organizations and partners.
"After 32 years of working at the Academy, I have always been proud of the beloved Party School named after President Ho Chi Minh and I have increasingly absorbed his teachings about the role and mission of the Party School and the status and responsibility of the staff and lecturers of the Party School.
Working and becoming a second term leader of the Academy, a national center for training and fostering leaders and managers for the Party and the State; a leading center for research on political theory, a consulting agency for planning guidelines and policies for the Party and the State. This is both an honor and pride, but also a great responsibility that the Party, State and people have entrusted to the collective leadership, staff and lecturers of the Academy, including me personally," emphasized Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Trung Y.
