On August 26, in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics held a ceremony to announce the decision to appoint the Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council - attended and chaired the ceremony.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Department of Organization and Personnel (Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics) announced the Decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Member of the Central Theoretical Council, Assistant to the Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang - to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council for the 2021-2026 term.
At the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang emphasized that this is a great honor and joy for Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung personally and the common joy of the Academy community.
This decision shows the deep concern and trust of the Secretariat, the trust of the Academy's key staff in Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung. This is also an important event, contributing to the timely implementation of Decision No. 214 of the Politburo on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Academy after the merger.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung is a well-trained cadre with solid professional capacity, having held many important positions, always attached to the field of theoretical and strategic research.
With his accumulated experience and deep attachment to scientific work, he has become an important factor connecting the Academy's team of scientists with the Central Theoretical Council, while expanding the coordination between research agencies, departments, ministries, branches and localities.
In the new context, the task of theoretical research and summarizing the practice of the Academy is increasingly weighty and glorious - from summarizing 100 years of the Communist Party of Vietnam's revolutionary leadership to 40 years of implementing the National Ministry of National Defense (ND'I M'I), requiring the Academy to constantly improve the level of research, directly contributing to the planning of guidelines and policies for national development.
Expressing his honor and emotion at receiving the appointment decision, the new Deputy Director of the Academy, Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Manh Hung respectfully thanked the Academy's leaders and the Central Theoretical Council's leaders for their trust and responsibility.
Looking back on his 25-year journey, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung believes that he is lucky to have lived and contributed in a scientific, intellectual, and affectionate environment for comrades and colleagues.
