On the morning of March 4, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to announce decisions on transferring and appointing leaders and managers for the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board and 2 provincial-level project management boards.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; along with representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of a number of departments and agencies.
According to the decisions signed by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on February 28, 2026, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Kim Lien commune was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Head of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone Management Board.
Mr. Hoang Sy Kien - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Director of the Nghe An Traffic Works Project Management Board.
Mr. Nguyen Hao - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Director of the Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Works.
At the ceremony, provincial leaders also awarded decisions to appoint Deputy Directors of the two project management boards. The Nghe An Traffic Works Project Management Board has Deputy Directors: Hoang Quoc Khanh, Nguyen Duy An, Phan Van Binh, Phan Duc Long. The Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Works has Deputy Directors: Vu Quy Phat, Nguyen Phuong Dong, Tran Quoc Hoan, Thai Van Hung.
The decisions take effect from the date of signing, the term of office is 5 years.
The consolidation of leadership personnel of project management boards is carried out in the context of the Provincial People's Committee implementing Plan No. 102/PA-UBND on continuing to arrange the organizational structure of the provincial government bloc. Accordingly, two project management boards previously under specialized departments have been transferred to directly under the Provincial People's Committee to improve the efficiency of management and operation of key projects in the area.
