In the afternoon of March 3, in Hanoi, Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the announcement of the Politburo and Prime Minister's decisions on personnel work with 5 leaders of ministries, the Government Office and the Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee.
Accordingly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women's Union was mobilized, assigned, and appointed by the Politburo to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor was received and appointed by the Prime Minister to hold the position of Standing Deputy Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religious Affairs.
Mr. Dang Xuan Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee, was received and appointed by the Prime Minister to hold the position of Standing Deputy Chairman of the Government Office.

Mr. Hoang Minh Son - Member of the Party Central Committee, Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi was transferred by the Prime Minister and assigned as Acting Minister of Education and Training.

Mr. Trinh Viet Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee was received and appointed by the Prime Minister to hold the position of Standing Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.

Awarding decisions on personnel work, the Prime Minister assessed that the comrades are all leading cadres with qualifications and capacity, well-trained; grown up from the grassroots level and have held many positions in many fields at the Central and local levels.
The Prime Minister requested that personnel appointed to new leadership positions, along with leaders of their sectors, agencies, and units, focus on effectively implementing a number of key tasks:
Focus on leading and directing, striving to successfully complete the assigned political tasks; contributing to the successful implementation of 7 groups of key tasks and solutions for 2026 and the 2026-2031 term that General Secretary To Lam directed at the Government Conference with localities summarizing work in 2025; in the spirit of "both effectively resolving immediate issues to create growth momentum and implementing long-term strategic reforms to transform the development model".

The Head of Government also requested to quickly approach and immediately catch up with the new work, focus on leading and directing the deployment of focused and key tasks.
Identify important, urgent tasks that need to be resolved immediately; ensure good performance of regular tasks; respond flexibly and effectively to arising problems; have a roadmap, plan and specific assignment of responsibilities for medium and long-term tasks.
Continue to pay attention to building a contingent of officials and civil servants who are truly brave, politically steadfast, professionally proficient, professionally skilled, and effective in their work.
Encourage officials to dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility for the common good. Develop and propose appropriate policies and preferential treatment regimes for officials.
