The Ministry of Justice has just announced the dossier for appraisal of the draft Decree stipulating the minimum wage for employees working under labor contracts, drafted by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
According to the draft submission, there are 7 provinces/cities proposing to adjust the area of application of the minimum wage (including: Hung Yen, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Gia Lai).
Adjustment from region II to region I for: Thanh Ha, Ha Tay, Ha Bac, Ha Nam, Ha Dong, Ninh Giang, Vinh Lai, Khuc Thua Du, Tan An, Hong Chau, Thanh Mien, Bac Thanh Mien, Nam Thanh Mien, Hai Hung communes under Hai Phong City; Binh Phuoc Ward and Cam My, Dinh Quan, Tan Phu, Thuan Loi communes under Dong Nai City; Ba Ria, Long Huong, Tam Long wards, Ngai Giao, Nghia Thanh, Kim Long, Chau Duc, Long Hai, Long Dien, Binh Khanh, An Thoi Dong, Can Gio, Thanh An and Con Dao Special Zone communes under Ho Chi Minh City; Mong Duong, Quang Hanh, Cam Pha, Cua Ong wards and Hai Hoa commune under Quang Ninh City.
Adjustment from region III to region II for: Dien Ban, Dien Ban Dong, An Thang, Dien Ban Bac wards and Dien Ban Tay, Go Noi communes under Da Nang City; Phuoc Long ward and Tan Khai commune under Dong Nai City; Binh Gia, Xuan Son, Dat Do, Phuoc Hai, Ho Tram, Xuyen Moc, Hoa Hoi, Bau Lam, Binh Chau, Hoa Hiep communes under Ho Chi Minh City; Quang Ha, Quang Duc, Duong Hoa, Cai Chien, Tien Yen, Dam Ha communes and Van Don special zone under Quang Ninh City; Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon Dong, Quy Nhon Tay, Quy Nhon Nam, Quy Nhon Bac, Pleiku wards under Gia Lai province.
Adjustment from region IV to region III for: Dong Hung, Bac Tien Hung, Dong Tien Hung, Nam Dong Hung, Bac Dong Quan, Bac Dong Hung, Dong Quan, Nam Tien Hung, Tien Hung, Quynh Phu, Minh Tho, Nguyen Du, Quynh An, Ngoc Lam, Dong Bang, A Sao, Tan Tien, Phu Duc, Hung Ha, Tien La, Le Quy Don, Hong Minh, Than Khe, Dien Ha, Ngu Thien, Long Hung, Le Loi, Kien Xuong, Quang Lich, Vu Quy, Binh Thanh, Binh Dinh, Hong Vu, Binh Nguyen, Tra Giang, Vu Thu, Vu Tien, Van Xuan, Thu Tri, Tan Thuan, Thu Vu communes belonging to Hung Yen province; Binh Lieu, Hoanh Mo, Luc Hon, Ba Che, Ky Thuong, Luong Minh communes and Co To special zone belonging to Quang Ninh City; Binh Dinh, An Nhon, An Nhon Dong, An Nhon Nam, An Nhon Bac, Bong Son, Hoai Nhon, Tam Quan, Hoai Nhon ward
Through review, the Ministry of Home Affairs found that the above-mentioned localities have all implemented the process of collecting opinions from relevant organizations, units and businesses located in the area.
The adjustment to increase the region in the past time is assessed to contribute to ensuring workers' wages but does not greatly affect production and business activities, business costs, and maintain stable labor relations.
Therefore, the Ministry of Home Affairs unanimously accepted the proposal to adjust the applicable areas belonging to the above 7 provinces/cities to report to the Government for consideration and decision.
