Quit all efforts to avoid power shortages in any situation; immediately deploy feasible projects and have backup plans for projects behind schedule. Ensure balance between localities; exploit the potential, outstanding opportunities, and competitive advantages of localities.
Projects proposed by localities and enterprises need to be carefully reviewed, appropriately accepted in the overall planning, ensuring the highest national interests and feasibility.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade needs to have solutions to handle the problems of LNG power projects; review projects, continue to supplement background power sources to ensure security of power supply, serve economic development and the daily needs of the people.
In the plan to implement the adjustment of the VIII Power Plan, it is necessary to add specific progress milestones for projects to monitor, urge, and determine responsibilities when implementing.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade coordinates with the Government Office to complete the dossier for the Adjustment of Power Plan VIII, and report to the Prime Minister.
