Politburo transfers Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Da Nang City Party Committee

In the afternoon of March 17, the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

Attending the conference, on the central side were Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee; Mr. Dinh Huu Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee.

At the conference, the Central Organization Committee announced the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

Accordingly, the Politburo transferred and appointed Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee - to participate in the City Party Committee Executive Committee, Da Nang City Party Committee Standing Committee for the term 2025 - 2030, and at the same time hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Da Nang City Party Committee.

Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung expressed his honor to be trusted by the Central Government to assign him to work, and said that this is a great responsibility to the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang city.

The new Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee sent his thanks for the concern and assistance of central agencies and city leaders through various periods, and affirmed that he will quickly approach work, stick to reality, maintain solidarity, listen to people's opinions and strive to successfully complete assigned tasks.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung also highly appreciated the comprehensive development results that Da Nang has achieved in the past time. Besides, he acknowledged that the city still has many difficulties and challenges that need to be focused on solving in the new development stage.

In his new position, he committed to maintaining his qualities, promoting the spirit of exemplary behavior, and together with the city's leadership collective, inheriting the achievements that have been achieved, continuing to innovate thinking and act decisively for the common good.

The new Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee also expressed his desire to continue to receive the leadership and direction of the Central Government, the coordination of the entire political system and the companionship of the People to jointly build Da Nang to develop quickly, sustainably, modernly and livably.

The consolidation of key leadership personnel of Da Nang is expected to contribute to strengthening operational capacity, meeting the development requirements of the city in the new period.
