On January 11, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Dang Minh Quan - Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Justice - said that the 2025 inspection plan of the Ministry of Justice will include 27 inspection teams, including: 7 administrative inspection teams, 16 specialized inspection teams and 4 thematic inspection teams.
The inspection work will focus on a number of contents such as: Administrative inspection, inspection of responsibility for implementing legal regulations on corruption prevention and control, and inspection of responsibility for implementing regulations on receiving citizens and handling complaints and denunciations;
Specialized inspection in the fields of: notarization, property auction, lawyers, commercial arbitration, bailiffs; civil status, nationality, authentication; judicial records, adoption;
Inspecting property auctions for assets recovered through criminal cases of corruption and economic crimes with asset value from 500 million VND or more of property auction organizations.
The Chief Inspector of the Ministry also establishes surprise inspection teams in accordance with the law.
The Inspectorate of the Ministry of Justice said that through inspection, it will promptly detect and correct weaknesses and shortcomings in state management; take strict and lawful measures to handle groups and individuals who violate the law, engage in corruption and negativity; and make recommendations to improve policies and laws that are still inadequate and have loopholes.
Strengthening the leadership, direction, quality, progress and effectiveness of inspection work; supervising, appraising and handling after inspection, focusing on organizing the implementation of legal regulations on implementing inspection conclusions, especially increasing the rate of recovery of money and assets due to violations, corruption and negativity.
Previously, in 2024, regarding inspection and examination work, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Justice conducted 29 inspection teams, including 11 specialized inspection teams, 8 administrative inspection teams, 2 thematic inspection teams, and 8 surprise inspection teams.
Through the inspection, the Chief Inspector of the Ministry issued 3 Decisions to recover money with the amount of 173,937,000 VND, 21 Decisions to impose administrative sanctions with the total amount of 188,500,000 VND, 2 Decisions to apply remedial measures, forcing the return of the amount of 3,517,458 VND.
