On the morning of August 9, the Government Office Party Committee (VPCP) held the 27th Congress of the Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
At the congress, Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that in the overall success of the Government, there are extremely important, direct and inseparable contributions of the VPCP Party Committee - the top advisory, synthesis and service agency of the Government and the Prime Minister.
VPCP has truly been a "brain" in the work of advising, synthesizing, coordinating, serving the direction and administration of the Government and the Prime Minister.
In leading the implementation of political tasks, VPCP has helped the Government and the Prime Minister handle a huge amount of work, with more than 1,200 resolutions, nearly 800 decrees and tens of thousands of documents directing and implementing.
"Behind those impressive numbers is intelligence, sweat, effort, and the sleepless nights of comrades. I know and am very moved when I hear that there are comrades who are still struggling with work at 2-3 am, calling to ask for instructions to promptly issue documents.
That is the most vivid proof of the sense of responsibility, dedication, enthusiasm, and all-out for the common work", said the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh suggested that the VPCP Party Committee promote the achieved achievements, focus on overcoming limitations and weaknesses, and at the same time emphasize major focuses.
In particular, it is necessary to truly create a revolution in thinking and acting, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, truly taking a shortcut to take the lead. VPCP must pioneer in innovating thinking and constantly being creative.
Each cadre and party member must self-meditate against the old-fashioned thinking, afraid of difficulties, afraid of hardship, and thinking for a term. We must promote personal responsibility, the spirit of self-criticism and criticism, dare to propose bold and breakthrough decisions for the benefit of the nation and people.
Focus on building a team of elite, professional, honest VPCP staff with enough heart - spirit - intelligence - trust. People are the deciding factor. We must build a team of VPCP staff worthy of both virtue and talent.
There must be specific mechanisms and policies for treatment of civil servants to attract, promote and retain talents, creating an environment for them to contribute and develop.
"The work of VPCP is often closely linked to the planning of major socio-economic policies, the final decisions of the Government on resource allocation and investment policies" - the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister noted and requested VPCP staff to comply with work discipline, constantly practice, cultivate, and be strong enough to overcome temptations. So that the losses of cadres in the past term are like a sad and painful lesson, will never repeat itself.
The Government leader also emphasized that VPCP must be a model of digital transformation and administrative reform. The VPCP Party Committee must take the lead in digital transformation in the Party, must resolutely build a "no documents" office, and handle work completely in the digital environment.
