On July 10, Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Tran Van Lau signed and issued Decision No. 562/QD-UBND on approving the list of policies and regimes for early retirement and termination of employment in July 2025 (supplement) - city departments and branches.
According to the Decision, the list of 53 cases of early retirement and termination of employment is approved according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP (amended and supplemented by a number of articles in Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP).
The approved list includes 43 cases of early retirement and 10 cases of resignation.
Of which, there are 7 cadres, civil servants and 3 public employees under the Department of Home Affairs; 9 cadres and civil servants under the Department of Finance; 4 cadres, civil servants and 4 public employees under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; 3 cadres and civil servants under the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; 2 cadres and civil servants under the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council; 2 cadres and civil servants under the Department of Health; 2 cadres and civil servants under the Department of Science and Technology; 6 cadres and civil servants under the Department of Industry and Technology; 4 cadres and civil servants under the Office of the City People's Committee; 3 cadres and civil servants under the Department of Education and Training; 2 cadres and civil servants under the City Inspectorate.
In addition, there were 2 cases of working under labor contracts before January 15, 2019 under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Health.
Heads of agencies, units and localities are responsible for deciding and implementing policies and regimes for cases approved according to decentralization authority.
The Director of the Department of Finance shall preside over and coordinate with the Social Insurance of the XXX region, the Heads of relevant agencies and units to appraise the cost estimates, and advise the City People's Committee to pay funds for policy and regime settlement according to regulations.
