The Politburo decided that Mr. Do Thanh Binh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee, will no longer participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee, and will no longer hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee and related titles.
At the same time, transferring, assigning, and appointing Mr. Do Thanh Binh to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term and appointing him to participate in the Party Committee of Military Region 9.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee congratulated Comrade Do Thanh Binh on taking on the important responsibility of Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; The Politburo believes that with his experience, capacity and bravery, he will excellently complete the new assigned tasks.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc proposed that comrade Do Thanh Binh, in his new position as Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee, closely follow the direction of the Central Government, the Politburo, and the Secretariat, with the highest effort and determination, immediately get to work, and together with comrades in the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee, continue to innovate thinking, methods of leadership, direction, and administration, strengthen discipline and order; promote the responsibility of collectives and individuals at the head, dare to embark on new, difficult, and unprecedented tasks.
The Head of the Central Organization Committee requested to promote economic development, review scenarios and growth resources to be determined to achieve double-digit growth targets.
