In addition, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is also in charge of national defense, security, internal affairs, inspection, foreign affairs and directly monitors some areas including Thuc Phan, Nung Tri Cao, Tan Giang wards and 11 communes belonging to Ha Quang, Trung Khanh, Hoa An districts.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu Dinh Quang is assigned to manage general work when the Chairman is absent and in charge of the general economic bloc.
