President Luong Cuong believes that the Vietnamese community in Laos will become a solid bridge and directly foster the Vietnam - Laos relationship.

Within the framework of the state visit to Laos, on the afternoon of April 25, Politburo member and President Luong Cuong and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation had a meeting with representatives of associations, businessmen, intellectuals and the Vietnamese community in Laos.

According to the Vietnam News Agency, in the warm atmosphere, the love of the people, on behalf of the Party and the State's leaders, the President Luong Cuong sent to the people with considerate and intimate emotions; Appreciating the fact that the Vietnamese community in Laos has made important contributions to the economic development of Laos, contributing to stabilizing the social security of your country.

The President expressed his delight at seeing that whereverver Vietnamese people are, they are actively preserving and promoting the fine and precious traditions of the Vietnamese people, always covering and helping each other in business as well as in life, joining hands to build a developed and increasingly strong Vietnamese community in Laos.

President Luong Cuong said that this official visit aims to contribute to promoting the implementation of high-level agreements between the two Parties and the two States to continue to consolidate and bring the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos into increasingly deeper, more substantial and more effective depth.

In an interview with the top leaders of Laos, President Luong Cuong suggested that the friends continue to create conditions for overseas Vietnamese living and working in Laos to integrate into life, contributing to the development of Laos.

Sharing with relatives about the socio -economic development situation, in terms of domestic and foreign affairs, the President of Luong Cuong affirmed that our Party and State always cared about the overseas Vietnamese community, including the Vietnamese community in Laos; Always identifying the overseas Vietnamese community is an inseparable part of the great national unity bloc, an important resource of the Vietnamese nation and a factor contributing to strengthening cooperation and friendship between Vietnam and other countries.

Recognizing and sharing the enthusiastic contributions, proposals and recommendations of representatives of associations, businessmen, intellectuals and people, President Luong Cuong affirmed that the Party and State will continue to improve mechanisms to create more favorable conditions for people to maintain their connection with their homeland, participate in investment, business and innovation activities in Vietnam.

President Luong Cuong expressed his belief that the Vietnamese community in Laos will continue to develop, become more and more stable, integrate, and comply with the laws of the host country, becoming a solid bridge and directly fostering the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos, and hoped that the associations would continue to promote their role in connecting overseas Vietnamese to create a connected community, standing shoulder to shoulder to support each other, and creating favorable business conditions in the neighboring country.

On this occasion, President Luong Cuong also presented gifts to overseas Vietnamese and Vietnamese schools and presented Nguyen Du bilingual School with a wardrobe of Vietnamese books and more than 120 books to support teachers and students to continue to promote the teaching and learning of Vietnamese, contributing to preserving the national identity and culture in the Vietnamese community in Laos.
