On the morning of December 30, in Hanoi, Politburo Member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the preliminary conference to deploy the "Quang Trung Campaign" to quickly build and repair houses for families whose houses were damaged by storms and floods in the Central region.
The conference was organized directly at the Government headquarters, online with the bridge points of Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong provinces and cities. Attending the meeting were members of the Party Central Committee: Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga.

Currently, the whole country has completed the phase 1 objectives of the campaign. At the conference, leaders of ministries, branches, and localities committed to continue to promote the completion and overcoming of all objectives of the campaign and the plan assigned by the Prime Minister so that all people have a home to celebrate the traditional Tet of the nation.
Concluding the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that "Quang Trung Campaign" is a campaign without gunfire but must be victorious and win quickly.
Only 1 month after the launch, phase 1 has been basically completed, basically 100% of house repairs for people have been completed; 100% of newly built houses have been started and 42% have been completed, committing to be completed before January 25, 2026.
The Prime Minister highly appreciated and praised the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, ministries, branches, socio-political organizations, businesses, especially Party committees and authorities of 8 provinces and cities in the Central region for actively participating, with the highest spirit and responsibility to achieve the initial goal of "Quang Trung Campaign".
Recalling that the implementation of the "Quang Trung Campaign" currently has no significant difficulties or obstacles, so with the spirit of "winning over and rushing forward", the Prime Minister requested provinces and cities, especially Dak Lak and Gia Lai provinces, to mobilize all forces, the entire political system, the Fatherland Front, political and social organizations, businesses, people, especially the police, army, militia and self-defense forces, and the Youth Union to get involved, join hands, contribute, and strive to complete the entire "Quang Trung Campaign" by January 15, 2026 (initial deadline January 31), creating achievements to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress.
The Prime Minister directed that, along with promoting the "Quang Trung Campaign", local Party committees and authorities continue to review and support people if they have difficulties in life such as lack of basic living necessities; purchase seedlings, crops, agricultural materials to support people in restocking, restoring cultivation, aquaculture... restoring production; ensuring environmental sanitation; repairing and restoring the operation of schools and clinics.
Localities proactively resolve, if they exceed their authority, report to the Government and the Prime Minister for resolution.
Requiring support for people mainly with finance, ensuring publicity, transparency, and combating wastefulness and negativity, the Prime Minister reminded media agencies to continue to provide information to encourage, motivate and disseminate good and effective practices.
At the same time, it reflects the joyful spirit of the people, creating motivation and inspiration for the whole nation to be ready to effectively implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress.
