Lam Dong - The Deputy Prime Minister requested the locality to focus all resources to implement the Quang Trung Rapid Campaign to help people in flooded areas have a home before Tet.

On December 3, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee held a launching ceremony for the Quang Trung Campaign, speeding up the construction and repair of houses for households whose houses were damaged or collapsed by natural disasters.

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh attended the groundbreaking ceremony and gave specific instructions for Lam Dong to effectively implement the Quang Trung Campaign.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were Senior Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security and leaders of Military Region 7.

On the local side, there were Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie K dam; Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, and leaders of the provincial armed forces.

At the launching ceremony, 4 households in Quang Lac village, D'ran commune will be supported to build new houses, including: Mr. Tran Van Phu, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Ms. Le Thi Thu Trang, Mr. Nguyen Cong Dinh.

These are the households that suffered the most damage to their houses in the historic flood on November 19.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi informed that Lam Dong has been taking drastic and urgent action as quickly as possible to help the people. The locality will mobilize armed forces to go to every alley, knock on every door to support people from the smallest things in the construction process.

During the implementation of the Quang Trung Campaign, departments, branches and construction units increased their responsibility in committing to ensuring the progress and quality of the project. The people and villages join hands to support the State's policy, as well as support each other to quickly complete the houses, helping affected households to soon stabilize their lives," Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized.

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh requested that building houses for people is a particularly important task that requires the participation and cooperation of the entire political system. Lam Dong must take action with a spirit of speed.

Therefore, strive to have new houses for people whose houses have collapsed before January 15, 2026 and complete repairs for families whose houses have damaged before December 20, 2025 so that people can overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

According to the latest report, during the recent flood, 229 houses in Lam Dong province were damaged. Of which, 23 houses were completely collapsed, needing to rebuild new houses and 206 houses were damaged and needed to be repaired.

Implementing the "Quang Trung Campaign" launched by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to quickly rebuild and repair houses for families whose houses were damaged by recent natural disasters in the Central provinces, Lam Dong agreed to support 120 million VND/house that was completely collapsed; from 20 - 40 million VND/house damaged.
