On March 30, at the first session of the Vinh Long Provincial People's Council, XI term, delegates elected key leadership positions of the Provincial People's Council for the term 2026 - 2031.
With unity and high confidence, the delegates elected Comrade Nguyen Minh Dung - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the 10th Provincial People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of the 11th Provincial People's Council.
Comrades Nguyen Van Tuan, Kim Ruong and Le Thi Thuy Kieu continued to be elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the 11th Provincial People's Council, term 2026 - 2031, ensuring inheritance and stability in the apparatus.
The session also elected the Heads of the Committees of the 11th Provincial People's Council, including the Legal, Economic - Budget, Culture - Society and Ethnic Committees, to improve organization and improve operational efficiency.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Comrade Nguyen Minh Dung said that the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council will promote the central role of solidarity, innovate operating methods, and improve quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.
