This activity of President Luong Cuong took place on the morning of January 29 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), on the first day of the new year.

According to VNA, in the solemn and emotional atmosphere of the first day of the new year, President Luong Cuong lit incense sticks, respectfully remembering President Ho Chi Minh, the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people. He devoted his entire life to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party, the nation, our people and international friends; leaving our Party, our people, today's and future generations an extremely precious ideological heritage, a shining example of morality, style and way of life.
Next, President Luong Cuong visited Uncle Ho's fish pond in the grounds of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site.
During his lifetime, every day after work in the afternoon, Uncle Ho would go to the pond to clap his hands and feed the fish. He has been away for many years, but memories of his simple lifestyle in the garden and fish pond, his morality and love still spread throughout the country.
President Luong Cuong also visited the exhibition area of three cars used by President Ho Chi Minh from 1954-1969, which were recently recognized as National Treasures by the Prime Minister in the last days of 2024. This event marks a special milestone when for the first time after 55 years of preserving and promoting the value of President Ho Chi Minh's legacy, the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace is honored to have an artifact recognized as a national treasure.
More than half a century has passed, but President Ho Chi Minh's legacy still exists deeply in the space of the special national relic - the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace. The relics, documents and artifacts here are the most vivid and authentic evidence, reflecting his life, career, ideology, morality and style.
Wishing a Happy New Year and having a friendly talk with the staff of the Relic Site, President Luong Cuong suggested that in the new year, the Relic Site should continue to promote its important role, wholeheartedly and with all its might to preserve the precious documents and artifacts of President Ho Chi Minh, so that those documents and artifacts become invaluable spiritual assets for today's and future generations, so that the Relic Site is always a sacred "red address", a place to convey the historical values, ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh not only to the Vietnamese people but also to friends around the world.
