On the eve of the Lunar New Year 2025, this morning (January 22) in Hanoi, President Luong Cuong offered incense in memory of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. Also offering incense in memory and gratitude to the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.
Here, President Luong Cuong expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to the revolutionary cause as well as the cause of national development.
At the same time, President Luong Cuong vowed to continue to strive with the entire Party and people, promoting the strength of great national unity and the aspiration for development to bring the country into a new era of prosperous development.
Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong is an exceptionally outstanding leader, who devoted his whole life to the Party, the country, and the people. He is a shining example of a loyal communist soldier, fully embodying the qualities, talent, mettle, and intelligence of the generation of Vietnamese leaders in the renewal period.
During his life of working and dedicating himself to the revolution, he left the entire Party, people and army a valuable system of ideology and theory on the path of the Vietnamese revolution in the new era.
The legacies that comrade left behind will continue to be inherited and promoted by our entire Party, people and army, contributing to the successful implementation of the renovation cause, bringing our country steadily towards socialism.
According to VNA, in the warm atmosphere of the days before the traditional Lunar New Year, President Luong Cuong kindly inquired about the health of Mrs. Ngo Thi Man, wife of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; wished her and her family a new year of peace, good health, well-being and prosperity.
Visiting and wishing former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh a Happy New Year, President Luong Cuong expressed his appreciation for his contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and State, as well as the cause of national construction and development during the Doi Moi period.
On the occasion of the upcoming New Year of the Snake 2025, President Luong Cuong wished former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh and his family a new year of peace and prosperity, and continued attention and contribution of enthusiastic and intellectual opinions to the glorious revolutionary cause of our Party and our people.
