The announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the evening of August 29 stated that, at the invitation of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Luong Cuong will attend the 80th Anniversary of the World People's Socialist Victory and work in China from September 2 to September 4.
President Luong Cuong's working trip to China comes as Vietnam and China are preparing to hold important celebrations with many mutual visits by senior leaders of the two countries.
President Luong Cuong's working trip to China took place right after the working trip of Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
At the invitation of the Government of the People's Republic of China, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh will attend the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit as a guest of the host country and work in China from August 31 to September 1.
Also on this occasion, Standing Member of the Politburo Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Head of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China Zhao Lusi Te led a high-ranking delegation of the Party and State of China to officially visit Vietnam, attend the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of Vietnam on September 2 and co-chair the first meeting of the Cooperation Committee between the National Assembly of Vietnam and the National People's Congress of China from August 31 to September 2.
The visit of National People's Artist of China Zhao Lusi took place at the invitation of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Thanh Man.
