The announcement of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on August 27 stated: At the invitation of the Government of the People's Republic of China, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh will attend the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit as a guest of the host country and work in China from August 31 to September 1.
