This morning (March 6), in Hanoi, on the occasion of the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day and the 1,985th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising Day, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man had a meeting with female National Assembly delegates (NADs) and female Department heads of the National Assembly agencies and the National Assembly Office.
Speaking at the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated that Vietnamese women are always united, dynamic, creative, good at state affairs and housework.
The National Assembly Chairman also shared the hardships and difficulties of female leaders in general and female National Assembly deputies in particular when they have to do their assigned tasks well, while also paying attention to and taking care of family work.
Referring to the revolution of streamlining the apparatus of the political system in general and the agencies of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Office in particular, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man stated that the Politburo and the Secretariat have just issued Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW on the implementation of research and proposal to continue to reorganize the apparatus of the political system. This includes the requirement to study the amendment and supplementation of a number of articles of the Constitution related to the organization of the apparatus of the political system in the direction of not organizing at the district level, towards a 3-level government model (central, provincial and commune).
Along with that, continue to cut off intermediaries, simplify administrative procedures, arrange and streamline the agencies of the Fatherland Front (FFF), socio-political organizations, mass organizations, etc., ensuring a streamlined, compact, strong, efficient, effective and efficient apparatus in the new situation.
In the past, the National Assembly has reorganized and streamlined the organization of the National Assembly agencies and the National Assembly Office and initially achieved success; in the coming time, we will continue to reorganize the internal apparatus said the National Assembly Chairman.
The National Assembly Chairman proposed to continue to reorganize the Department-level apparatus of the National Assembly Office in the spirit of selecting workers; continue to support and seriously implement the Party's policy on reorganizing and streamlining the apparatus.
According to the National Assembly Chairman, in the coming time, the workload of the National Assembly will be very large with higher requirements and greater responsibility. These include new tasks related to reviewing, researching, amending the 2013 Constitution and laws related to the arrangement of the apparatus according to Conclusion 126-KL/TW (on some contents and tasks of continuing, arranging, and streamlining the apparatus of the political system in 2025) and Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW of the Politburo and the Secretariat; organizing the 9th Session, the 10th Session with a large volume of legislative work...
