At the Thanh Hoa Commune Administrative Center (Phung Hiep District, old Hau Giang Province), National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that in order to reduce human time and energy, it is necessary to promote digitalization and artificial intelligence (AI). Each ward officer must use an AI virtual assistant to support their work to achieve efficiency.
In particular, the National Assembly Chairman emphasized that wards need to upgrade communication lines to be strong in order to serve public administration quickly. Because when in the center of Can Tho, the phone used 5G, but when it reached Thanh Hoa commune (old Hau Giang), the phone had switched to 4G. Therefore, the ward has to work with the network units Viettel, Mobifone, Vinaphone...
"If we want communes and people to use digitalization, the transmission line must be good," said the National Assembly Chairman.

Earlier, on the same morning, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended the Ceremony to announce the Resolution and Decision of the Central and local governments on merging provincial and commune-level administrative units, establishing party organizations, appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of cities, communes, wards, and special zones.
The new political system of Can Tho city will officially operate from July 1, 2025 in accordance with the Party's policies and resolutions, implementing the 2-level local government model on schedule, streamlined, efficient, effective, smooth, close to the people, close to the people, promptly serving the practical interests of the people.
According to the Resolution, after the arrangement of Can Tho city, Hau Giang and Soc Trang provinces will become Can Tho city (new). Can Tho city has 103 commune-level administrative units, including 31 wards and 72 communes. Of which, there are 30 wards and 65 communes formed after the arrangement and 8 commune-level administrative units that do not carry out the arrangement are Tan Loc ward, Truong Long, Thanh Phu, Thoi Hung, Phong Nam, My Phuoc, Lai Hoa, Vinh Hai communes.
