National Assembly Chairman visits Tan Trao Relic Site

On March 18, during a working program in Tuyen Quang, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man visited and offered incense at the Tan Trao Special National Monument.

Also participating in the delegation were Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh, leaders of a number of National Assembly Committees, and leaders of a number of ministries and branches.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the working delegation offered incense at Na Nua cabin. This is where Uncle Ho lived and worked from May to August 22, 1945 to direct the preparation for the General Uprising and lead the August General Uprising to gain a successful government in the whole country.

The members of the working delegation expressed their infinite gratitude for President Ho Chi Minh's contributions. National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the working delegation also came to offer incense and plant souvenir trees at Tan Trao Communal House. This is where the National Assembly National Assembly meeting was held on August 16 and 17, 1945, deciding to approve the General Uprising to gain power across the country, approve 10 major policies of the Viet Minh, stipulate the National Flag, National Anthem and elect the Vietnam National Assembly Committee for the Liberation of Vietnam, the provisional Government chaired by leader Ho Chi Minh.

At the Memorial Site for Revolutionary Fathers of Tan Trao Special National Relic Site, the National Assembly Chairman and the working delegation offered incense to commemorate and express gratitude to revolutionary Fathers and excellent students of President Ho Chi Minh.

The working delegation also offered incense to commemorate President Ton Duc Thang, visited and surveyed the Conservation and Restoration Project at the National Assembly Standing Committee Relic Site; At the same time, visited and presented gifts to 20 policy families and disadvantaged households in Trung Yen commune, Son Duong district. Visit the site to check the progress of the road construction investment project from Son Duong town to Tan Trao Special National Monument; Giving gifts to workers and laborers working at the construction site.

This visit and working session is a meaningful activity on the occasion of the whole country's exciting competition to achieve achievements to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 18090 - May 19, 2025) and towards the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026).
