Chairman of Vovinam Senegal Federation Dr Diomaye Dieng emphasized that to be able to contribute to society, we must be healthy. Martial arts will train martial artists to become good citizens, actively participating in the development of the country, community work, and contributing to society.
According to the President of Vovinam Senegal Federation, through Vovinam, students have actively contributed to promoting Vietnamese culture in Senegal, fostering the increasingly close friendship between Vietnam and Senegal; through martial arts spreading the values of humanity, peace, and love.
The spirit of Vovinam, also known as Viet Vo Dao, is a combination of martial arts and martial arts, aiming at comprehensively training people both physically and mentally. This is not only a learning of tricks to defend yourself but also a process of cultivating ethics, building personality and contributing to society.
Vovinam Vietnam martial arts has become popular in Senegal, with about 3,000 martial artists nationwide, ranking second in Africa after Algeria. Brazil has established the Vovinam Association under the Vovinam World Federation. President Senegal Bassirou Diomaye Faye is also a product of Vovinam.
On this occasion, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man presented the symbol of the Vietnamese National Assembly to the Vovinam Sen Senegal Federation. President of Vovinam Senegal Federation Dr. Diomaye Dieng also presented a souvenir to National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
