On August 18, the Di An Ward Party Committee (HCMC) held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.
At the congress, the Executive Committee of the Di An Ward Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term, consisting of 33 members, was introduced.
Mr. Vo Van Hong holds the position of Party Committee Secretary; Mr. Ho Hong Minh holds the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy holds the position of Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee.

Di An ward was established on the basis of merging Di An ward, An Binh ward and part of Tan Dong Hiep ward (formerly Di An city, Binh Duong province).
After the merger, the ward has an area of 21.45 km2, a population of 227,817 people, becoming the most populous ward in Ho Chi Minh City.
The area is currently home to many large industrial parks such as Song Than Industrial Park, Tan Dong Hiep A Industrial Park, Binh Duong Industrial Park, etc.
Speaking at the congress, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc emphasized: "Di An ward has the largest population in the city, of which the number of immigrants is very large, causing pressure on social security, housing, security, healthcare, education... Therefore, the Ward Party Committee needs to clearly define specific and feasible strategies, tasks and solutions right from the beginning of the term".

Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc also suggested 5 major orientations for Di An ward in the coming time:
Continue to promote the strength of great solidarity, build a clean and strong Party Committee and political system.
Innovating urban governance according to the two-level government model, towards a modern serving administration, adapting to the "unlimited" working model. The consistent viewpoint is to put people and businesses at the center, taking satisfaction as a measure of work efficiency according to the motto "pleasing customers when coming, pleasing customers when going".
Economic development associated with sustainable urban planning, building Di An ward into a smart, civilized, modern, green and humane city.
Attract experts, scientists, and investors to participate in urban planning and renovation, especially the problem of relocating businesses, long-standing industrial parks, boarding houses, and residential areas. The ward needs to boldly call for socialization, creating conditions for businesses to participate in renovation and embellishment.
Taking advantage of the transport infrastructure, when metro line 1 and the freight railway line passing through the area were proposed by Becamex and agreed by Ho Chi Minh City, this was considered a great driving force for development.
The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also requested Di An ward to continue to improve the quality of education, health care, and social welfare, meeting the needs of a large population; at the same time, maintaining national defense and security, ensuring social order and safety in all situations.
