HCMC - Biwase is carrying out procedures to invest in increasing the capacity of the Di An Water Plant project from 90,000 m3 to 150,000 m3/day and night.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has decided to approve the results of the environmental impact assessment report of the Di An water plant project to increase capacity to 150,000 m3/day and night.

Accordingly, the above project is invested by Binh Duong Water - Environment Corporation (Biwase).

The project is invested in An Phu ward, Tan Dong Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

The total land area of the project is 91,461 m2. Of which, the land area of Di An Water Plant and the raw water pipeline is 86,193 m2, the land area of the raw pumping station is 5,267 m2.

The project is invested in increasing the clean water production capacity from 90,000 m3 to 150,000 m3/day and night. Water source for production from Dong Nai river water

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment requests the project investor to be responsible for implementing the provisions of Article 37 of the Law on Environmental Protection and Article 27 of Decree No. 08/2022/ND-CP.

The investor organizes surface water exploitation in accordance with the location and volume permitted by the competent state agency. Monitor the quality of raw water and water supplied after treatment according to regulations.

Comply with standards, regulations, technical regulations and legal regulations during the project construction process.

Ensure requirements for water source protection corridors. Without causing erosion, the Dong Nai river bank at the water collection point.

Coordinate with authorities and the community to prevent and solve environmental problems arising during the project's operation...
