On August 17, information from Nghe An Provincial Party Committee said that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has just issued a conclusion on continuing to improve, supplement, arrange and reorganize cadres, civil servants and public employees after reorganizing commune-level administrative units.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee agreed on the policy of accepting civil servants in communes and wards that are still lacking compared to the staffing quota according to the Central Government's instructions for civil servants of public service units and non-professional workers.
Priority will be given to heads of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations who are promoted to deputy heads due to the arrangement of administrative units in the 2023 - 2025 period according to Resolution No. 1243/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee, if they wish to continue working.

The Provincial Party Committee also agreed to arrange, reorganize, and receive civil servants from public service units to work as commune-level civil servants in the following cases: Included in the previous district-level arrangement plan; civil servants who were previously civil servants; cases of making a short list or leaving a shortcomings; or having submitted a resignation letter under the regime but not eligible for leave, now having a desire to continue working.
The Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee is assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to continue reviewing, synthesizing, and submitting to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee a plan to arrange and assign cadres, civil servants, and public employees at the commune level; at the same time, direct the addition and consolidation of members of the Party Committee, Standing Committee members of the Party Committee, and leaders of departments and Commune-level Committees. This work must be completed before August 31, 2025.
After the arrangement, Nghe An currently has 130 communes and wards, a decrease of 282 units compared to before. Up to now, Nghe An province has arranged 9,928 cadres, civil servants and public employees to work at 130 commune-level administrative units, including 4,063 people from the Party and 5,865 people from the government.
Recently, many commune-level civil servants in Nghe An have submitted resignation letter, leading to a shortage of people working in commune and ward administrative units.
