On August 15, at the 7th thematic session, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council passed a Resolution on policies to support rental rent and travel expenses for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.
These cases are supported after the arrangement of administrative units and local government organizations at both levels has been approved.
According to the resolution, the beneficiaries of the policy include cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers receiving salaries from the State budget who are transferred to the new administrative center of Khanh Hoa province.
In addition, there are cases of people who are mobilized, rotated, or seconded from the provincial level to the commune level, some places are 30km or more from the workplace.
This policy does not apply to cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers working at central agencies located in the province.
The housing rental support level is 3 million VND/person/month. In case of eligibility to be arranged with public housing but wishing to rent a private house or not yet being arranged with public housing, the support level will be 4.5 million VND/person/month.
In addition, the travel cost support level is regulated at 760,000 VND/person/month.
Thus, if the total support amount for the supported cases is 4.5 million VND and 760,000 VND, the maximum amount that a person will receive is 5.62 million VND.
The policy will be applied for 24 months, starting from July 1, 2025. In particular, housing rental support will end when beneficiaries choose or are allocated official housing according to regulations.
