On the morning of August 1, Hai Phong City Police launched a campaign to attack and suppress crimes to ensure security and order, protect security and safety of party congresses at all levels, celebration activities, and important political events in the city.
The launching ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung - Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee, representatives of leaders of departments, branches, some wards and nearly 1,000 officers and soldiers of the local police force.

In that spirit, the Director of Hai Phong City Police ordered the city's entire police force to simultaneously attack and suppress crime, ensure security and order; absolutely protect the safety of Party Congresses at all levels and political events in the city.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung said: In the context of both the country and the city implementing decisions and strategies on implementing the two-level government model; developing science and technology, digital transformation... to create all favorable conditions for the country to enter the "New era of development - the era of strong growth of the Vietnamese people". Therefore, the City Police force must proactively develop and synchronously deploy preventive measures, prevent and effectively combat all types of crimes, contributing significantly to the successful completion of socio-economic development goals and tasks, maintaining political security, ensuring security and order, and maintaining a peaceful and happy life for the people.
In the immediate future, the top priority is to ensure absolute safety for Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party and the upcoming important political events.
