On the afternoon of January 5, in Binh Phuoc, General Secretary To Lam and the Central Working Delegation visited and worked at the Binh Phuoc Provincial Police, according to VNA.
Speaking at the meeting, General Secretary To Lam pointed out that 2025 is of special importance in successfully implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee.
The province must be determined to complete and exceed the targets of the 2025 work plan; best serve the local economic - political - cultural - social - security - defense activities, especially serving the Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress; resolutely implement the policy of arranging and streamlining the apparatus of the political system.
The General Secretary noted that the province needs to connect traffic between localities in the region; develop infrastructure, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the area; and at the same time focus on promoting potential to enhance socio-economic development.
The province needs to closely follow the targets set by the 13th National Party Congress and the Provincial Party Congress to complete and build targets for the next Congress.
The General Secretary requested that the provincial police must demonstrate a pioneering role in reviewing, arranging, and streamlining the internal apparatus in accordance with the policies of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security.
Carry out well the political and ideological work for all cadres and soldiers, unite, unanimously and resolutely implement Resolution No. 12 dated March 16, 2022 of the Politburo on promoting the building of a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern people's public security force, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
The General Secretary requested that the province strengthen administrative reform, promote its leading role in digital transformation, innovation, and transformation of working status, especially in economic development, and enhance the application of modern science and technology in state management.
Closely combine security and order protection with socio-economic development, effectively serving the socio-economic development tasks of the locality. Strongly promote the movement of the entire people to protect national security in conjunction with effectively implementing the work of ensuring social security in mountainous, highland and border areas; build a comprehensively strong communal police force.
The General Secretary emphasized that Binh Phuoc is a border province with ethnic minorities, the provincial police force needs to stay close to the people, maintain social order and safety, and maintain security and order, creating conditions for socio-economic development, worthy of being a reliable support for the Party, government and people of all ethnic groups in the region.
