On July 1, the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province, term XIX, 2021-2026, opened its first session.
At the meeting of the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province, a Resolution was passed to establish 14 specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, on the basis of merging specialized agencies of the old Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces.
The agencies include: Department of Construction, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Justice, Department of Finance, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Education and Training, Department of Health, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Provincial People's Committee Office, Provincial Inspectorate, Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, Department of Foreign Affairs.
The session also announced decisions to appoint key leaders of departments and branches.
Accordingly, Mr. Le Thanh Son - Director of the Ha Giang Department of Construction (old) was appointed to the position of Director of the new Tuyen Quang Department of Construction; Mr. Do Anh Tuan was appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Mr. Van Dinh Thao was appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Finance; Mr. Pham Ninh Thai was appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Science and Technology.
Mr. Pham Manh Duyet was appointed Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Mr. Nguyen Trung Ngoc to the position of Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Vu Dinh Hung to the position of Director of the Department of Education and Training; Ms. Khanh Thi Xuyen to the position of Chief Inspector of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Lai Thi Huong to the position of Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung to the position of Director of the Department of Health; Mr. Nguyen Trung Thu to the position of Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Mr. Nguyen Khanh Lam holds the position of Director of the Department of Justice; Ms. Chu Thi Ngoc Diep holds the position of Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; Mr. Hoang Anh Cuong was appointed as Director of the Department of Industry and Trade.
The meeting also reviewed and decided on many important contents related to the number and list of personnel holding the positions of Deputy Heads of Committees and members of Committees of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term; Resolution on appointing personnel for the Provincial People's Committee members for the 2021-2026 term; Resolution on establishing the Provincial People's Council Delegation Group and appointing the Head and Deputy Head of the Provincial People's Council Delegation Group.
At the same time, a resolution was passed to establish Provincial People's Council Committees; an Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council was established; a resolution was passed to promulgate the Working Regulations of the Provincial People's Council; a Resolution on the Plan to organize regular sessions in 2025 of the Provincial People's Council.
