According to the summary of the Provincial Election Committee, the composition of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term of Dong Thap ensures representation and gender diversity with 9 men (50%), 9 women (50%). Professional qualifications: 14 deputies with postgraduate qualifications, 4 deputies with university qualifications. In terms of political theory, there are 16 deputies with advanced qualifications, 2 deputies with intermediate qualifications.
Regarding the working composition, there are 7 delegates from the government bloc, 4 delegates from the Party bloc, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; 3 delegates from the armed forces; 1 delegate from religion; 3 delegates from the business and economic fields.
The distribution of delegates by constituency shows the combination of central officials, local leaders and professional fields, in order to ensure a multi-dimensional voice in the parliament.
