At the ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the Delegate Affairs Committee Nguyen Dai Thang announced Resolution No. 2017/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee approving Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Deputy Secretary in charge of the National Assembly Party Committee Vu Hai Ha to hold the position of Standing Deputy Chairman of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee.
Speaking to assign tasks to Mr. Vu Hai Ha, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong said that in each working position, Mr. Vu Hai Ha strives to excellently complete the assigned tasks, showing professional qualifications, capacity and political bravery.
The approval of Mr. Vu Hai Ha to hold the position of Standing Deputy Chairman of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee shows the trust and recognition of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the National Assembly Party Committee, and the National Assembly Standing Committee for his efforts in the past time.
At the same time, the Committee for National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs has been supplemented with a senior official with in-depth knowledge, experience and practice in the field of foreign affairs to implement many important tasks in the coming time.
Especially in the context of our country entering a new era, making national defense, security and foreign affairs a key and regular task.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly said that the workload of the National Assembly in general, and the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee in particular in the coming time is increasing, with many new contents to meet the requirements and tasks set out according to the Resolutions of the 14th Party Congress, the Conclusions of the Politburo, and the Secretariat.
Therefore, it is required that the collective of agencies must improve professionalism, efficiency, and substance; the collective leadership of agencies must always uphold the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, activeness, and thoroughness in work, under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee and the National Assembly Standing Committee.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested that the leaders of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee focus on building an agency that is increasingly professional, substantive, united, proactive, and active to strive to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
