On the afternoon of March 4, the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee on merging the Thai Binh Newspaper and Thai Binh Radio and Television Station agencies; decision on accompanying personnel work.
At the conference, representatives of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Provincial Party Committee's Executive Committee on merging Thai Binh Newspaper and Thai Binh Radio and Television Station into Thai Binh Newspaper.
Along with that, the decision of the Standing Committee of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee on the assignment and appointment of the positions of Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thai Binh Newspaper after the merger was announced.
Accordingly, journalist Hoang Minh Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Thai Binh Newspaper - was appointed to the position of Editor-in-Chief of Thai Binh Newspaper after the merger from March 17, the appointment term is 5 years.
Mr. and Mrs. Lam Van Minh - Director of Thai Binh Radio and Television Station; Vu Van Manh - Deputy Director of Thai Binh Radio and Television Station; Hoang Van Duyet, Tran Thi Thoa - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thai Binh Newspaper - were appointed to the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thai Binh Newspaper after the merger from March 17, the appointment term is 5 years.

Speaking at the conference, Thai Binh Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than emphasized that the merger of the two agencies of Thai Binh Radio and Television Station and Thai Binh Newspaper is an objective trend, meeting practical requirements and implementing Conclusion No. 126-KL/TW dated February 14 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on a number of contents and tasks to continue to reorganize and streamline the apparatus of the political system in 2025.
Mr. Than requested that after the merger, Thai Binh Newspaper should reorganize the apparatus, stabilize the work soon to organize operations immediately according to assigned functions and tasks; focus on developing internal regulations and operating regulations, closely following the approved project to carry out the handover of assets, and arrange to perfect the internal team in a reasonable manner.

In addition, the leaders of the Thai Binh Newspaper Editorial Board after the merger need to build a united relationship in operation and organization of task implementation, assign professional tasks appropriately, ensure that the new agency operates more effectively, efficiently and promptly; the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Board needs to pay attention and support to create conditions for the new apparatus of Thai Binh Newspaper to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
