On February 3, at the Ministry of National Defense Headquarters, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San - Deputy Minister of National Defense chaired a working conference with the General Department of Logistics and Technology, the Department of Finance (Ministry of National Defense) and agencies on logistics assurance, Tet Nguyen Dan Binh Ngo assurance, military recruitment and 2026 task plan.
Reporting at the conference, Major General Ha Nhu Loi - Deputy Director of the General Department of Logistics - Information Technology, implementing the Directive of the Minister of National Defense and the guidance of the General Staff, the General Department of Politics, and the General Department of Logistics - Technology, thoroughly grasped and synchronously implemented solutions to ensure logistics to serve the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 and the military recruitment work in 2026.
The General Department of Logistics and Technology has issued documents guiding and directing units to strictly maintain the order of logistics and technical work, review and supplement plans to ensure combat readiness, regular and unexpected tasks; Publicly implement standards and regimes for soldiers, focus on cold prevention and control, disease prevention and control, ensuring food safety and hygiene, and proactively prepare to receive and train new soldiers.
Regarding the military recruitment work in 2026, the General Department of Logistics and Technology has directed to ensure full military uniforms, military food, barracks, military medicine and means of transporting new soldiers; Carefully prepare transportation plans, health check-ups, reception and stabilization of daily life, initial training for new soldiers, ensuring safety and in accordance with regulations.

At the conference, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hung Lam - Director of the Department of Finance reported on the results of task implementation in 2025, and the plan for task implementation in 2026. In 2025, the Ministry of National Defense organized the allocation, management and use of the national defense budget tightly and effectively, and the allocation and assignment of budget estimates to units reached 99.97%.
Regimes and policies for beneficiaries are fully, promptly, and in accordance with regulations. In which, 100% payment has been completed to beneficiaries according to Decrees No. 177, 178 before October 15, 2025.
Regarding the implementation of the 2026 budget estimate, so far, the Ministry of National Defense has assigned estimates to units reaching 78.6%.
Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the General Department of Logistics and Technology and the Department of Finance in implementing the assigned functions and tasks in the past time;
Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San requested agencies to continue to carefully review plans to ensure logistics and finance, proactively balance resources, closely coordinate between agencies and units, ensure good life for soldiers during Tet and effectively serve the 2026 military recruitment work.
