On the afternoon of March 2nd, at the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang province organized a meeting with voters to mobilize for the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term, term 2026 - 2031 (voting unit No. 1).
The conference was organized in a direct combined online form, connecting provincial-level bridge points with 18 communes and wards, creating conditions for a large number of voters to follow and contribute opinions.
Attending the conference at the provincial-level bridge point were Mr. Vu Hong Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Ms. Ha Nhat Le - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of a number of departments, agencies, and sectors.
At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuc Phan ward announced the summary biographies of 5 NA Deputy candidates of the 16th term belonging to constituency No. 1, including: Mr. Tran Hong Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Construction; Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Veterans Association; Mr. Duong Mac Kien - Provincial Party Committee Member, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Truong Ha commune; Mr. Trieu Thanh Binh - Member of the Party Committee of the commune, Head of the Culture - Society Department of Dong Khe Commune People's Committee; Ms. Nong Thuy Van - Member of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of Truong Ha commune.
Presenting the action program to voters, candidates expressed their honor to be introduced as candidates; and affirmed that if they are trusted to be elected as National Assembly deputies, they will strive to perform well the role of legislator, supervisor, and truthfully and fully reflect the thoughts and aspirations of the people.
Candidates committed to continuing to improve their qualifications and professional capacity; maintain close contact with voters; propose practical solutions to promote socio-economic development, ensure national defense and security in the area.
In which, many contents are emphasized such as perfecting economic development policies, promoting social housing, attracting investment, creating stable jobs for rural workers, investing in transport infrastructure, and improving the quality of education and grassroots healthcare.
Speaking at the conference, voters in communes and wards assessed that the action programs were prepared seriously, showing a high sense of responsibility.
With a democratic and frank spirit, many opinions were directly exchanged on practical issues related to people's lives, especially creating sustainable livelihoods, improving infrastructure and improving the quality of public services at the grassroots level.
On the same day, a working delegation led by Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Veterans Association (CCB) presented 20 gifts to CCB families in Thuc Phan ward; 15 gifts to CCB families in Tan Giang ward; 15 gifts to CCB families in Nung Tri Cao ward.
