Delegates attending the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.

On the morning of October 16, before the opening of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), delegates from the Presidium of the 9th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, heads of delegations and overseas Vietnamese attending the Congress visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs.

Attending the funeral were Mr. Do Van Chien - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Vice Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front: Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, Nguyen Huu Dung, Hoang Cong Thuy, To Thi Bich Chau.

Also attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; delegates in the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 9th tenure, Heads of delegations and overseas Vietnamese.

With boundless gratitude, the delegation expressed their respect and remembrance of President Ho Chi Minh’s great contributions to the cause of building and consolidating the great national unity bloc. The delegation’s wreath bore the inscription “Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh”.

President Ho Chi Minh constantly built and perfected a system of viewpoints on great national unity, actively consolidating the ideology of unity among all classes of people. He believed that great national unity is an issue of strategic significance throughout the Vietnamese revolutionary process.

Inheriting the nation's precious traditions and developing President Ho Chi Minh's ideology of great solidarity, our Party has put forth the policy of great national solidarity, considering this a fundamental, long-term and consistent policy.

Next, the delegation laid wreaths and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Heroic Martyrs Monument on Bac Son Street, Hanoi.

The 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029, with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development" took place from October 16-18, 2024 in Hanoi.

The Congress has the task of comprehensively assessing the situation and results of implementing the Resolution of the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2019-2024.

Set out the direction, goals, tasks and action program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new term. Those tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front contribute to promoting democracy, the strength of great national unity, and building an increasingly prosperous, civilized and happy country.
