The days of the 14th National Party Congress have received the deep attention of a large number of cadres, party members, workers and people across the country. Closely following the contents of the Congress, many opinions expressed their belief and excitement at the major orientations, especially the strategic breakthroughs identified for the new term.
Talking to Lao Dong reporters, Mr. Dang Van Xuong - Former Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Council (formerly), Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial Lawyers Association - said that in recent days, he has followed the Congress with great confidence and expectations.
In recent days, following the 14th National Party Congress, I am very excited and believe that the Congress will be very successful. From there, set out guidelines, policies, and strategic decisions that are correct, suitable to the actual situation, highly feasible; and at the same time, elect leaders with virtue, talent, heart, and vision, capable of leading the country into a new era," Mr. Dang Van Xuong shared.
According to Mr. Dang Van Xuong, one of the contents that he is particularly interested in is the 3 strategic breakthroughs that the Congress has set out. With the institutional breakthrough, he expects the legal system, mechanisms, and policies to continue to be improved in the direction of synchronization, quality, practicality, and truly "suitability with the Party's will and people's hearts".
Going hand in hand with that is to promote administrative reform, decentralization, delegation of power, taking the satisfaction of the People and businesses as a measure, serving; at the same time, it must be seriously organized and implemented, closely supervised so that the policies can soon go into life," Mr. Xuong emphasized.
Regarding the breakthrough in human resources, he expressed his expectation that the Congress will create a foundation for building high-quality human resources associated with science and technology, innovation and digital transformation. According to him, paying attention to training a team of leaders, managers, entrepreneurs, scientists, highly skilled workers and policies to attract and value talents at home and abroad is a key factor for the country to develop and break through in the coming period.
Regarding infrastructure breakthroughs, Mr. Dang Van Xuong said that investing in building a synchronous and modern infrastructure system is of particular importance, especially transportation infrastructure, logistics, digital infrastructure and data.
Prioritizing a strategic transport infrastructure system that connects localities, regions, the whole country and globally will create an important driving force to bring the country to rapid and sustainable development," he said.
Not only veteran officials, many trade union officials and workers also expressed their belief in the success of the 14th Party Congress, hoping that major policies will soon be concretized into practical programs and policies, taking better care of the lives, jobs, and rights of workers, while creating new momentum for socio-economic development.
