On June 16, Military Region 4 held a conference to announce and hand over personnel decisions, and at the same time deploy tasks to the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command (CHQS) after the merger.
The conference was chaired by Major General Doan Xuan Buong - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region 4; Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh - Commander of the Military Region and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Heads of the Command, and agencies of the Military Region attended.
At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee - Military Region Command announced the decision of the Minister of National Defense on the transfer and appointment of cadres of the new Quang Tri Provincial Military Command.
Colonel Doan Sinh Hoa - Commander of the Quang Binh Provincial Military Command to hold the position of Commander of the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command; the conference also presented 7 other personnel decisions to the Quang Tri Military Command.
On behalf of the cadres transferred and appointed this time, Colonel Doan Sinh Hoa - Commander of the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command emphasized the determination of the cadres in solidarity, making efforts to successfully complete tasks, focusing on organizing the merger and rearrangement of local military agencies in accordance with the two-level government model.
At the conference, the Head of the Command and the Military Region agencies thoroughly grasped a number of important contents on preparing to merge the new Quang Binh and Quang Tri Military Commands, ensuring the new Quang Tri Military Commands will soon stabilize and operate effectively.
Concluding the conference, Major General Doan Xuan Vuong requested Party committees and commanders at all levels to quickly complete the organization of the payroll, clearly assign responsibilities; strengthen Party organizations, command organizations, and prepare personnel for the upcoming Party Congress. At the same time, do a good job of protecting internal politics, building solidarity, and not allowing discrimination between localities.
In addition, the leaders of Military Region 4 requested units to urgently issue operating regulations, supplement combat plans, and ensure adequate logistics, technical, financial and living conditions for officers and soldiers after the merger.
