On the afternoon of July 24, Dong Nai City Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the term appointment of Colonel Tran Trong Thuy (born in 1976, native of Tu Ky commune, Hai Phong city), Head of the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai City Police to hold the position of Deputy Director of Dong Nai City Police, from July 24, 2026.
Also at the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the term departure of Colonel Tran Trong Thuy, Deputy Director of Dong Nai City Police, to receive work at the Dong Nai City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board from July 24, 2026 to perform tasks according to work requirements.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Dong Nai City People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut emphasized that Colonel Tran Trong Thuy is a well-trained officer, grown from practice, with many years of working in the Traffic Police force, having held many positions from Head of Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai City Police.
During his tenure as Head of the Traffic Police Department, Colonel Tran Trong Thuy and the unit's leadership collective advised on many important solutions in organizing and ensuring traffic order and safety, contributing to improving the effectiveness of state management of traffic order and safety in the area.
Speaking to assign tasks, Major General Nguyen Duc Hai, Director of Dong Nai City Police, requested that in his new position, Colonel Tran Trong Thuy continue to promote his qualities, capacity, and practical experience; quickly approach work, and together with the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the City Police, lead and direct the effective implementation of all aspects of security and order assurance. At the same time, during his assignment to work at the City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, he will proactively coordinate closely with departments, branches, and localities, contributing to the effective implementation of key traffic projects, serving the socio-economic development of the city.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Colonel Tran Trong Thuy, Deputy Director of Dong Nai City Police, affirmed that he will continue to maintain the political bravery and moral qualities of a People's Police officer; constantly study, train, promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, dedication, and effort, quickly approach new tasks, and together with the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the City Police, excellently complete all assigned tasks.
