On March 3, General Luong Tam Quang - Member of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security and candidates for National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term met with voters belonging to Election Unit No. 3 before the election of National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term and the election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. The conference was connected online to 21 bridge points in communes and wards in Election Unit No. 3, Hung Yen province.
Speaking at the meeting, General Luong Tam Quang expressed his honor to be assigned by the National Election Council to run for election in Hung Yen province and to be introduced to run for National Assembly Deputy of the XVI term at constituency No. 3, this is also a very noble and heavy responsibility that the Party, State and all voters trust and entrust.
If I am trusted by voters to be elected as a National Assembly Deputy of the XIV term, I will strive and try to bring all my intelligence, capacity, enthusiasm, and responsibility to successfully fulfill the responsibilities of a People's Deputy, making positive contributions to building and developing my homeland and country in the new era" - General Luong Tam Quang emphasized.
The Minister said that he will actively participate in perfecting the development institution; focus on grasping difficulties, obstacles, "bottlenecks", and "bottleneck points" in policies and laws to advise on timely removal, contributing to unlocking resources and creating new development momentum for the country and Hung Yen province in general, and communes and wards under Election Unit No. 3 in particular.
Along with that, he will direct the development and improvement of laws on security and order; promote administrative procedure reform in state management of security and order in the direction of not depending on administrative boundaries, creating maximum favorable conditions for people and businesses.
At the same time, implement solutions to maintain security and order, continue to reduce sustainable crime, build communes and wards without crime, without drugs, and ensure a safe and secure environment to serve socio-economic development.
The Minister also emphasized the goal of building and developing a self-reliant, modern security industry with international competitiveness, deeply participating in the global value chain, contributing to rapid and sustainable development in the spirit of the 14th Party Congress Resolution.
General Luong Tam Quang affirmed that he will maintain close contact with voters, regularly meet and fully attend voter meetings to listen to opinions, grasp the thoughts and legitimate aspirations of voters; together with other members of the Hung Yen Provincial National Assembly Delegation to reflect opinions and recommendations of voters and people to the National Assembly, Government, and central agencies to help Hung Yen remove difficulties, obstacles, and "bottleneck points", promote the province to develop quickly and sustainably, improve the material and spiritual life of the people, and soon bring Hung Yen to breakthrough development, becoming a modern industrial center in the leading group of the country.
At the conference, 100% of voters expressed high consensus on the action program of the National Assembly deputy candidates. Voters hope that those who are trusted and elected will truly be a solid bridge, fully conveying the thoughts, aspirations and will of the People to the National Assembly; contributing to building Hung Yen province to become increasingly rich and strong.
